The War of the Invisible World – Beyond Sci-Fi

In the beginning when God created heaven and earth, it consisted of “Visible” & “Invisible” things. Invisible creation is as important as the visible creation.

“for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, “visible and invisible,”

Colossians 1:16 KJV

The earth was and is owned by Lucifer and his armies. When earth and all that’s in it were created the culmination of the visible and invisible realm was under the same cosmos and the first human Adam and Eve were able to enjoy it. When Eve disobeyed the God’s command the ability of seeing the invisible realm was cut off from them. Since then it remained invisible, we can only see the invisible realm through the help of “spiritual eyes” which is indeed a gift from the Godhead.

Imagine watching a 3D movie without a 3D glasses, the image on the screen would be blurry, Right ? Now imagine the same movie playing on the screen with the polarizing filters removed from the screen. The screen would be plain white, You will be able to see the images only through a 3D glasses. Well that’s exactly how the spiritual realm works, you will need a 3D glass called the “Holy Spirit.” This is not a sci-fi story, this is truth and truth only. “Holy Spirit” is a promised gift fulfilled by Jesus to those who believe in him.

“But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.”

John 16:7 NIV – Yes the advocate mentioned here is the “Holy Spirit”

But when Jesus was
leaving to return to heaven, He promised that another person
Would come in His place who would stay with us forever, not
just for a few brief years. That promise was fulfilled on the day
Of Pentecost. Jesus the Son, as a person, had gone back to the
Father in heaven. Then, from the Father and the Son together,
the Holy Spirit came to take the place of Jesus.

Why is it important to understand this ?

Since the fall of Adam and Eve, Lucifer and his armies are hidden and working behind the stage fooling people. Only if you understand the invisible world, will you understand the visible world and the things that are happening in it. So it’s very important to understand what’s happening in the invisible realm to connect the dots. I dare you! if you ever get a chance to take a small peak at the activities happen in the invisible realm, I kid you not! You wish you weren’t alive. It’s terrifying!! You can literally see Angles & demons on the streets fighting, you can see how little demons try to cause accidents and cause one to pick up a fight on the street, you can see demons laughing at the drunkards, You can see the demons celebrating when one steals or murders or rapes or lie or lust etc. Every wicked things that happen on earth is a celebration for the demons.

You can see different disfigured animals holding the skyscrapers and Bridges. You can see the demon commanders asking the troops to take control over the expensive sports cars and bikes and luxury houses etc. If you think you own any of these materialistic things on Earth and you’re rich, because of it, then you are the biggest fool. Nothing is owned by us, it’s all “Pre-Owned and pre- planned” by Lucifer Billions of years ago. I’ll give you simple example to understand, why do you think we get our new owned things prayed by the priest? Why do we get it blessed ? To keep it safe ? From whom ? Well you know the answer.But the best part is that there are Angels guarding us all the times, there are angels fighting for us, standing for us. Doing things for us, protecting us, protesting for us. Which we don’t understand or see.

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

What is the solution?

If there is spiritual realm, and spiritual beings then there is “Spiritual warfare” which is fought between the Angels and Demons. In court of law, there are Victims, Advocate and Judge. Advocate is there to defend the victims and finally the Judge to rule out the judgement. Our Advocates are “Jesus Christ” and “The Holy Spirit” two person of the Triune God. Jesus will defend in Heaven and the Holy spirit on earth.We file the petition to advocate through prayers and fasting and the advocate will fight our case in the spiritual battlefield. God will give the final Judgement. No warfare has ever been fought easily, they have all be fought wisely with proper preparation, planning and with armors, so is spiritual warfare too. We can fight this with preparation and planning and most of all “The Armor of God”

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

Conclusion

Understanding new things take time, if one can be convinced of Christopher Nolan’s movies of Time, Space and Dream, then you can be rest assured to understanding the Bible and the Triune God. It is not beyond that comprehension.

Before you believe in anything, it is very important to understand it first.

You see I was not a convinced believer of Christianity and its doctrines during my early ages, I had questions, questions that not many could answer. Then I started to seek them and I found it. I ask you the same. Seek it. You shall find it.

In order for one to understand and a follow a certain worldview, the combination of knowledge and wisdom are highly essential. One can fetch knowledge by reading but to fetch wisdom, we need the grace of God.

Ignorance is not Bliss

Have you ever felt, what you hear from the preacher isn’t filling you enough? Or felt that it is very basic to your intellect? Have you ever felt “it would have been better if we had a better preacher?” Well, I do not know about you, but I have felt it. At times I have walked out of the place while the sermon was still live. I am not stating what I felt was correct and justifying it, rather, I am stating what I felt and did was wrong and sinful to my consciousness. Only repentance and God’s forgiveness can save me from hell. I am trying not to intimidate you by bringing heaven and hell topics but when I tell you the truth, I’d like to do that without applying any sugar coatings.

Alright! Let’s move on, I have wondered why I feel that way? Why did I walk out of the place while the sermon was still live? I thought to myself, is it because of the thought that I knew more than what the preacher was preaching? or is it because I determined in advance that this sermon is not going to fill my spiritual cup? Well, if it’s the former or the latter, both are derived from mere human judgmentalism.

According to an article published by Inc. (on Oct 6. 2016), science has proved that “people can judge you in 0.1 seconds that’s, in the blink of the eye, in a tenth of a second to be exact”. However, this proof or justification is not going to be our point of argument on Judgment Day. I am blatantly honest rather than being a hypocrite. I confess that I have judged, I confess that I am not perfect, I accept that I did sin on multiple occasions, only through my personal experience could I share the truth and learnings which will benefit the reader to some extent. You see, 0.1 seconds is all Satan needs to make you fall, the very blink of an eye. Are you understanding the seriousness of this? That means It only takes 0.1 seconds to make a human disobey the word of God. Satan is so clever that he has blinded us with our eyes open. The sadest part is 0.1 seconds are not the most concentrated part of our life, rather it’s the most ignored part.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For, in the same way, you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Matthew 7:1-3

Can you just imagine how many times we have judged people in our life without even knowing that we ever did? We all have done it while sitting inside the church while worshipping while walking on the streets while sharing small talks, while someone is praying in a prayer group while your fellow brother/sister are sharing an opinion, haven’t we? 

Judgmentalism is a partial part of dissension, hence it becomes an integral part of “The acts of the flesh” which Apostle Paul mentioned in Galatians 5: 19-21. It’s just the tip of the iceberg. Paul made it blatantly clear that anyone who lives with these will not inherit the kingdom of God. I think now you are getting a little serious, well, it’s a good sign which leads to the roads of repentance and confession then forgiveness. The order is important. 

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God

Galatians 5: 19-21

I just used a small incident from my own life as an example to explain our vulnerability to sin. That too in 0.1 seconds, the very blink of an eye. According to a few kinds of research I did on Google, it is said that on average, most people blink around 15 to 20 times each minute. That means, while you’re awake, you probably blink 900 – 1,200 times an hour, and 14,400 – 19,200 times a day. Now it is upto you to calculate the total number that you have sinned. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much important this is to our daily life as a Christian, if Satan needs only 0.1 seconds to make one fall for a sin, imagine how many precious souls are falling into his trap in a minute, in an hour, in a day, in a week, in a month, in a year? It is not pleasant to know the numbers. Satan uses the most ignored part of our life and turns it against us and petitions to God keeping this ignored instance of ours, asking permission from the Almighty to torment our soul, spirit, and body, Our God being truly JUST, he allows it, this is the part we most often forget. Some of our major issues in life which we do not have answers for are because of these unnoticed, ignored sins.

It is our thought life where Satan plays with the most, the very thought that “Satan cannot harm us” is the greatest deception he uses to make us fall. If you have read my previous article “The War of the Invisible World – Beyond Sci-Fi” I attempted to explain spiritual warfare and the importance of understanding it, consider this article as a sequel to it but with elaborated examples to make you understand the depth of it. Satan is a very clever being, never underestimate his powers. Yes, Jesus Christ’s blood has won over him and his kingdom, but the world and the things in it belong to Satan, which we must never forget. (Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Matthew 4: 8 & 9) The moment we underestimate his powers, it gives him easy access to rule over us. So, it is very necessary to understand him and his plans in the same way we understand the enemies and their strategy to make a counterattack in any war.

God has given us free will, God does not allow demons to violate their free will unless a person gives access to demons, these small unnoticed sins we commit are the access for him. This so-called “access” is called “doorways” (Reference taken from Rebecca brown’s books). If only we could understand what are these doorways, how easy it is to fight the battle isn’t it?

The purpose of this blog is to wake your conscience towards the ignored part of our daily life which are left unnoticed and unattended. It is time we fix those parts and set them right. Satan doesn’t like people knowing his plans and hidden strategies that’s why he brings confusion and doubts in our minds. You are to simply “Submit yourselves, then, to God Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” – James 4:7. If this blog has bought you an epiphany or awareness of your unnoticed sin and you feel a strong conviction to confess it out and repent and forgive, then I sincerely thank my Father God and master Lord Jesus Christ for working his way in you through Holy Spirit. I suggest you read this blog again if you have not understood the depth of it. I am only a tool in my Master’s hand, he uses me in the way he wants me to be used. (We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64: 8)

QUICK NOTE ABOUT THE POEM:

“Cross That Fought The Fear” is as sonnet which lands in a same summary even when it’s read from bottom to top, though it’s a poem from the top and a prayer from below the context of the sonnet remains the same. However it is read, the very essence and context surrounding the cross can be interpreted very clearly. There is a poetry called “palindrome” which uses a mirror technique, in which the entire poem can be read the same forward and backwards. However, this sonnet is not 100% palindrome but the overall method is used to bring out the context of the poem and not the words.

Three For One

Between 1930 to 1990, Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke and Ravi Zacharias, 3 pillars with 3 different foundations reached ‘billions’ around the world without the use of any social media technology, it wasn’t until 1991 the Internet was opened to the public. Yet they could reach souls high in numbers.  – It makes me wonder how God uses people without the help of any modern invention.

They followed 1 book, led by 1 God, taught by 1 person, guided by 1 spirit for 1 common goal. Today they are part of history. 21st century might have lost 3 great personalities but Heaven gained its 3 great servants. – It makes me wonder how 1 book and trinity could lead them to the same common goal.

Today as I articulate this write-up I remember the song which was penned by the Songwriters: Jason Ingram, Matt Fuqua, Josh Havens, from the very verse of Matthew 25:21.

” Well done, well done
My good and faithful one
Welcome to the place where you belong
Well done, well done
My beloved child
You have run the race and now you’re home
Welcome to the place where you belong ”

His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! – Matthew 25:21.

I can imagine the heavens welcoming them with magnificent gestures. The true meaning of Paul’s word ”To live is Christ and die is gain” is now proving the world with examples.

How great is it to live such a committed life?
How great is it to complete the task loyally?
How great is it to run the race faithfully?
How great is it to lead without pride?
How great is it to give without expecting?
How great is our God!

The Shearing and the Shearer

Recently, I saw a video on social media (which has now become my temporary sideline) a shearer was shearing an overgrown sheep with the shearing machine. As I complete watching the whole process I had an epiphany and thought to myself that I should write about it. Let me unpack what I just learned. The shearing visuals are not blissful to watch, the overgrown fleece on the sheep made it so difficult to walk, to move forward it had to widen its legs and push the body further, just before it could take few more steps to eat some grass the shearer grabbed the sheep with his right hand with a good grip of its fleece, he then immediately turned it upside down and started shearing it maliciously. The act looked so ruthless, can’t deny the fact that the sheep might have thought that this is its last day.

 

 

It is the same analogy that we implement in our lives. Not to forget that the shearing process is done once in a year when the fleece is overgrown when the sheep can barely walk, keeping this as a background structure, I urge you to read further with a comparative ethos.

 

We do live our life as per the whims and fancies, out of our intent we carry out things which we shouldn’t be, we go to places which we aren’t supposed to be at, we see things which are not intended to be seen, we have our shenanigans hidden deep inside us, making us think that it is only “our” little secret. Remember, all these little acts can take us far, far enough to even make us happy and satisfied. Must you know that these are not accidents? but incidents. But then it won’t persist. Out of the blue, the happiness and satisfaction will stop. A huge boulder rolls into our life, it slows things down, By then all our fantasies and shenanigans we did would have made us overgrown with the filth and dirt like the fleece. Those sheep were once free like we were, hopping, skipping through the pastures doing whatever it felt like, eating wherever it wanted to eat, living life to the fullest.

We, humans, are prone to make mistakes that’s how our bodies are designed, but the mistakes done consciously are not mistakes, it is a sin. And when we sin is when we feel a void in us, things hit back badly, that’s when we think about our wrongdoings, that is when our consciousness play our misconducts like a movie in front of our eyes which in return alarms us with a great revelation that, because we did those things in the past we are facing these suffering in the present. Pantheistic worldview would call this process as “Karma”. These are the times we take hard decisions in life, many end their lives at this stage, while others will tend to take the path of persecution and violence, suddenly our very home becomes hell, our escapades become our last resort, our hobbies stop, our passion seems nothing to us. Ever experienced it? well, I have.

 

At this very point is when shearing comes into the picture, like the sheep in the shearing shed, we have to go through the process of shearing as well, remember the ruthless act of the shearer grabbing the sheep and turning it upside down and running the sharp shearing machine over its body? Yes. The so-called “Ruthless” act can be compared to our fall, our sins, the boulders in life, the void, loneliness, suffering, etc. Shearing becomes necessary for this very situation. But why is shearing necessary? Because shearing will mold us, it will remove all the dirt and overgrown fleece, it will cleanse us completely and make us new. That is why it is necessary.

 

 

There was one person in the bible who went through the shearing process. That was “Saul of Tarsus”. You can read his story in the book of “Acts of Apostles” in the bible. I challenge you! it will be one of the exciting chapters in the New Testament you ever read, the book consists of complete actions of the apostles and that is why the name Acts of Apostles. Now Saul was a persecutor and a fiend, “he made havoc of the church, entering every house and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison” (Acts 8:3) (The Persecution started somewhere between AD.30 – 36). Can you believe, if I say, Saul was transformed through shearing? Yes, it was on the way to Damascus Saul went through the most obdurate shearing of his life and it impacted him for three days. But the good things came to his life after the shearing process. He became a new person, even he got renamed, from “Saul the Persecutor” to “Paul the Apostle” and trust my word when I say, the major part of the New Testament in the bible was written by this Persecutor. Today most of the major teachings of all preachers, evangelist, and apologist in the world are taken from his life experience and letters. Eventually, Paul turned out to be the greatest Evangelist and Apologist ever.

The process of shearing will bring transformation, Saul to Paul, bad to good, dead to alive, deformed to form, sorrows to joy, sadness to happiness, nothing to something, debtor to the creditor, from the borrower to a giver, stingy to generous.

You should know that shearing is a staggering process. The slight pain we go through, the short suffering we go through, the ups and downs in our life, the losses, the heartbreaks, the hurt, voidness, betrayal all these are our overgrown fleece. But it is not permanent, it is not meant to stay, its meant to be sheared out, it is meant to be cleansed, Just like the shearer in the shed, we have shearer in the heaven a shearer called Jesus Christ the finest ever, it was Jesus Christ who sheared Saul on the way to Damascus and gave him a brand new identity, a transformation. When we have a great shearer like Jesus Christ, who can forgive our every sin and transform us, it becomes a pain-free process. He will shear us with His forgiveness and compassionate love which are His shearing machines.

Shearing is free for all worldviews, even for Judeo Christian worldview, because we all are sinners in the sight of God. Only through Him we can be sheared and made new. That’s what the Bible says too, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! – 2 Corinthians 5:17.

 

Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

I like the way E.M. Bounds quotes “There is no incense without fire; no prayer without flame.” It simply means an external object is needed to complete any action. You see without shearing, the sheep won’t be able to take a step forward. The external shearing machine is needed to make it walk back. When we implement this analogy to our life, we understand that our sins have made us overgrown with fleece and made us heavy to even take a step, but when we have a forgiving shearer Jesus Christ (external object) we have a privilege to go through the shearing process, now the action is complete. Jesus becomes the fire we the incense. We no longer need to live in loneliness, we no longer need to worry, we no longer need to suffer, we no longer need to live with the overgrown fleece, all we need to do is to choose the shearer. A shearer who is not ruthless but compassionate, not to be feared but can be clung to, not for momentary but eternal, While the sheep need to be sheared once a year, we just need to be sheared once in a lifetime, not denying the fact that we stumble and fall, but the greatest satisfaction is that our shearer is not ruthless but compassionate. Let us be that sheep who need shearing by the greatest shearer the world has ever known.
